  • Securing facilities to host the event(s)
  • Creating and planning appropriate fund-raising goals for our client
  • Creating a marketing plan to insure appropriate advertising, awareness, and coverage for the event
  • Writing Grants
  • Creation of appropriate marketing materials
  • Arranging individuals and talent to participate in the event; which may include the use of sports celebrities
  • Securing sponsors to provide funding
  • Assembling of promotional displays
  • Planning and organizing the logistical implementation of the event
  • Ensuring proper and adequate public relations for the event
  • Planning post event activities

Our team has been an event promotion service provider for nearly six years. Some of the sports based events that we have promoted include:

  • The Maine High School Hockey Invitational (2001-06)

The Maine High School Hockey Invitational is the largest organized high school hockey tournament in the US. In 2006, the tournament was comprised of 48 high school teams from ME, NH, MA, CT, RI, VT, NJ, NY, FL, and Canada. In 2007, we estimate that around 60 teams will be participating.

The tournament is hosted at four arenas in Southern Maine and its main purpose is to expose high school students to out-of-state competition and collegiate, preparatory, and junior level hockey scouts. In addition the invitational gives out seven scholarships to Maine high school hockey players who plan to attend a school of secondary learning and ascribe to a set of characteristics set forth by the tournament committee.

  • Former “Bruins Greats” vs. The Maine Cumberland County High School All-stars

This event has been held at the Maine Cumberland County Civic Center to benefit the Portland Firefighters IAFF Local 740. It is a hockey game between a southern Maine High School all-star team and Boston Bruins Alumni. In 2007, it raised over $100,000 for the Portland Firefighters.

  • The FIX CUP High School Hockey Tournament (2007)

The FIX CUP is a two day, four team high school hockey tournament held in Southern Maine to benefit the Frank Fixaris (a local sports announcer-legend) Memorial Endowment at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine. This two day tournament helped raise nearly $10,000 for the endowment at its first annual event.
