Pre-Professional Preparation
- Establish realistic goals for our client and their family
- Educate our client and their family members on draft process
- Liaise with interested teams and their management on our client’s behalf
- Prepare our client for team tryouts and interviews
- Liaise and advise our client with “post-draft” issues and relationships
Training
- Establish an effective strength and conditioning plan to meet the needs of each individual client
- Advise and establish an effective nutritional/diet regimen
- Prepare our client for tryouts, mini-camps, training camps, etc…
- Secure the use of appropriate training facilities for our client
- Establish a relationship on behalf of our client with a conditioning specialist as needed
Contract Negotiation
- Establish our client’s overall professional and life-long goals/expectations/options in order to arrive upon a desired negotiation outcome
- Develop negotiation tactics and a contract strategy
- Perform research on league requirements and requirements of individual teams
- Negotiate contract terms on behalf of our client
- Use salary arbitration where suitable
Marketing/Public Relations
- Create and update an individual marketing plan for our client
- Involve our client in favorable community appearances and charity events
- Manage positive/negative public relations situations as needed
- Negotiate endorsement opportunities
Financial Management/Planning
- Assist our client in the creation of a financial plan for both the client and family to secure financial stability
- Assist our client in choosing honest, effective, and professional financial planning advisors
- Review and update financial goals/plans and effectiveness of financial advisors
- Provide advice and assist our client on real estate investment decisions
- Assist our client in setting up bill payment procedure
- Assist our client with tax preparation as well as establishing a relationship with a certified accountant on their behalf
- Advise our client on life, disability, home, etc... insurance needs and assist with procurement of insurance
Post-Career Planning
- Advise and prepare our client for life after professional sports, before the end of their professional career
- Ensure our client’s financial plan will adequately secure their /family financial stability after their professional career
- Review and assist our client with pursuing educational options
- Actively pursue endorsement/appearance opportunities for our client
- Review and pursue business investment opportunities
